Instead of feeding your children and yourself processed store bought cereal, try this as an alternative. Pairs well with almond milk, fresh berries and honey.
You will need a dehydrator for this recipe.
Ingredients, all organic
5 cups buckwheat groats
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup poppy seeds
1/4 cup black sesame seeds
1/4 cup white sesame seeds
1/2 cup sunflower seeds
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds
1/2 cup goji berries
1/2 cup brazil nuts, coarsely chopped
2 heaping tbsp cinnamon
Buckwheaties: Soak buckwheat in 15 cups of water for one hour. Pour into mesh strainer and rinse. Continue rinsing the buckwheat every hour until the water being released is clear and the grains don’t stick together. Dehydrate at 105 degrees for 12 hours. Once buckwheaties are dehydrated and ready to go, in a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients. Mix well so that cinnamon coats all ingredients. Transfer cereal to a sealable container for storage.

Green juice delivers a powerful diversity of vitamins, minerals and enzymes that are absorbed immediately into the blood stream. Greens produce chlorophyll, which oxygenates your body and promote alkalinity. This enables us to release stored toxins in the body. A green juice will cleanse your digestive system, lungs, liver and uterus. Avoid combining vegetables with fruits, as they require different enzymes for digestion. The only exception is an apple, which has a more neutral effect.
Feel centered and clear
Focused and motivated
Prevent and aid disease
Drink 1-2 quarts of green vegetable juice a day. Drink the juice as soon as possible, after the juice is made. This ensures the enzymes are still alive and the nutrients are their richest. Try not to keep it for more than 8 hours. Store in a glass container, so that the toxins in plastic don’t seep through and use an airtight container filled to the top.
For maximum cellular absorption, drink your green juice first thing in the morning.
Perfect Green Juice Recipe

The skin is the largest most important elimination organ in the body and is responsible for one quarter of the body’s detoxification each day. The skin eliminates over one pound of waste acids each day, most of it through the sweat glands and is known also as our third kidney. The skin receives one third of all the blood circulated in the body. It is the last to receive nutrients in the body but the first to show signs of imbalance or deficiency.
Dry skin brushing stimulates cleansing through the lymphatic system. It also helps in removing cellulite, dead skin layers, strengthens the immune system, stimulates hormone and oil producing glands, tightens the skin and prevents premature aging. It tones the muscles, stimulates circulation, improves the function of the nervous system and helps aid digestion.
Purchase a natural, NOT a synthetic, bristle brush with a long handle
Skin brushing should be performed once daily first thing in the morning before showering
Begin brushing skin in long sweeping strokes starting from the bottom of your feet upwards, from the hands towards the shoulders and in an upward direction on the torso
Always brush towards the heart
Avoid sensitive areas and anywhere the skin is broken. Do not brush on or over skin rashes, wounds, cuts, infections, poison oak or poison ivy.
After brushing, shower and rinse off alternating temperatures in the shower from hot to cold. This will further invigorate the skin and stimulate blood circulation.
After showering, dry off vigorously and massage your skin with organic oil, such as almond, jojoba, sesame or coconut
Clean your skin brush using soap and water once a week. After rinsing, dry your skin brush in an open, sunny spot to prevent mildew.
For a thorough lymphatic cleansing, perform skin brushing daily for a minimum of three months.

The Chinese have been using green tea for a very long time as medicine to aid headaches, body aches, poor digestion and improve well-being.
Green tea extract contains high levels of antioxidants. EGCG is a particular antioxidant found in green tea that can protect against digestive and respiratory infections, block the carcinogens which promote cancer, is anti-bacterial and can help lower cholesterol.
Green tea helps with thermogenesis, which raises the metabolism and possibly burning fat.
Green tea extract also helps reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer and liver failure.
full of antioxidants
protects against heart disease
anti-bacterial; reduces plaque and bacteria in your mouth; prevents cavities
maintains a healthy circulatory system
My favorite green tea is organic SENCHA green tea, which can be found at Whole Foods. When preparing your cup of green tea, pour hot water into a cup and then add two tea bags. Avoid pouring hot water directly onto green tea bags. Drink at least 2 cups of green tea a day for health benefits.
